PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

Another month, another update!

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

About a year ago, I'd be anxious once I see pans in my products or once I reach the halfway mark in a bottle. I'd probably stop using it and reach for something else in order to keep my beloved babies longer. But now, I'm a changed woman. The previous pans have expanded, I've hit more pans in my palette, reached halfway marks on some products and I'm actually very excited about it.

I have learned a lot of things since I started this project. I might make a future post about it after I hit the halfway month for this year. But for now, I would like to share some YT channels that I binge-watched recently. I shared 4 channels previously in my Intro, but these two channels are the ones I'm currently addicted to. If you enjoy the channel, Beauty News, you might find them familiar. So a big shout out for these two amazing women!

BTW, I'm only showing the items that I've actually used so don't be surprised if there aren't 17 products (finished 1 last month) for this update. So enough with the intro, and let's proceed with my progress.

I wasn't satisfied with my progress in the previous update so I'm quite happy that I finished up more for this update. Since Summer has officially ended here down under, I will be using up more of this with the changing season. My goal for the next update is to finish up at least 3/4 of the tube.

I would definitely repurchase this once I finish it. It's quite an affordable moisturising primer and I enjoyed using it during the hotter seasons of the year. I can see dry skin gals will love this and if you have oily-combo skin, use this sparingly. It can move your make up around because it's quite an emollient product.

2. Naturactor Make Up Base

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

I started to enjoy this product for the past month! I love how it leaves a nice sheen on my skin that's quite trendy nowadays. If you want a "glass-skin" look, I highly recommend this product! But since this particular one has been with me for years, I want to finish this up as soon as I can. My goal by my next update is to finish this up.

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

I haven't been wearing a lot of make up recently because of the extreme Summer heat. That's why I stopped using my BB cream as well since it's just too heavy on my face and just melts right off anyway. I have used up this powder more but since it was practically new when I started this project, sadly, there's no visible progress yet on this one. On my next update, my goal is to hit a considerable dent. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I used up more of this than before so I'm quite satisfied with my progress. I'm hoping that with the coming of the drier months, I'd be able to use up more of it. My goal is to reach half of the bottle by the next update.

5.Bobbi Brown Corrector

I am so excited to share my progress with this one. As you can see I have expanded the pan significantly! I decided to use this on my no make up make up days and that's how I hit major progress.

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

I find that it doesn't sit well with other products that I use.  Maybe the formula is a little off since I had it for years but it just looks cakey and turns ashey when I layer it with a concealer or foundation. When I discovered to use it on its own, I started to like it better. My goal is to finish it up by the next update.

6. Inglot Freedom System Concealer

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

Since I hit major pan on my previous update, I started to use this product sparingly. I've only used this a couple of times that's why there's no major progress on this one.  I just love this concealer so much that I wanted to make it last a little longer for this year.

7. MAC Prolongwear Paintpot in Soft Ochre

There's no major difference on this one because I started to focus on the sides of the paint pot rather than on the middle dent. I wanted to somehow even out the product before I start making progress on the dent again. Probably on my next update, you'll see a deeper dent on this.

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

I would definitely repurchase this one again after I finish it considering how long it lasts. The quality is also amazing! Soft Ochre perfectly neutralises the discoloration of my lids and it keeps my eye make up stay in place for hours! It's definitely worth your money.

8. Paul & Joe Face Color

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

I have reached my goal with this product already (which was to hit pan). I'm just trying to use up the highlighter while I still can. Once it's finish, I'll probably move on to a different highlighter. I don't really care for the other shade since it doesn't complement my skin tone. Still, I'm very happy at how much progress I have made in this product for the past 2 months.

9. MAC Lip Pencil

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

I am struggling with this one. I started to regret adding it in this project recently. I know I can use it up if I want to but I don't really want to use it for the sake of using it up. I love this pencil and I may keep with me longer. I will still be using it but not on an everyday basis.

10. MAKE UP FOREVER Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick

This lipstick is never-ending! I have honestly used this almost everyday of my life for the past month. I thought I made a significant progress with it but when I saw the before and after photos I was honestly disappointed.

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

Don't get me wrong, I still love this lippie, but since I had it for years, I just want to finish it up. Would I repurchase it? For now, no. My preference in lipsticks have changed. But if you love matte lipsticks, I highly recommend it. This is totally a good investment. It's gonna last longer than most celebrity relationships.

11. LORAC PRO 2 Palette

On my previous update, I made a teeny pan on MOCHA. For this update, I am so stoked to hit pan on 3 other shadows (Lt. BROWN, BEIGE AND ROSÉ). I was also able to expand the pan on MOCHA. Honestly, I am surprised that I haven't hit pan on NECTAR and BUFF since those 2 are the most abused shades in my palette. I did notice though that those 2 shades are more hard-pressed than Lt. Brown so I guess that's why I hit pan on Lt. BROWN first.

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

I would have made more progress if I'd worn make up more frequently. Hopefully now that Summer has officially ended (and it's getting slightly colder), I would be making more progress with this palette on my next update.

12. Bobbi Brown Ink Liner

I finished another product for this update. Yay! I didn't include this on my previous update since I had no way of telling where I was with this product. But as you can see in the photo, it's finished.

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2

It performed well when it was brand new. However towards the end, the ink was dispensed on the sides rather than at the tip. I don't really like this product and think it's overpriced for what it does.  I prefer brush-tip applicators than felt-tip ones. Since I have small Asian lids, I prefer precise, small lines which I can't get with this pen. So I guess it's a matter of preference. If you like felt-tip applicators and like bold lines then I would recommend this.

For this update, I think I did pretty well. Although I only finished one product, I had more progress with my remaining items than I had previously.

Finished products:
1. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer (Medium) - AU$18.95 https://buff.ly/2CnYq6S
2. Bobbi Brown Ink Liner (Blackest Black) - AU$42 https://buff.ly/2otPDaN
Total: AU$60.95

So that's it for this post. If you have any tips and advice when it comes to panning please let me know on the comments section below. If you're also a panner please leave your links as well as I would love to connect with fellow panners.

Stay tuned next month for my next update.

Have a wonderful day!
